You won’t find this on CNBC or Fox Business and I’ll bet the Government or IRS won’t tell you about it

As you may have noticed in the earlier two articles, I found some interesting data for 2006 and I broke it down into some charts to make it easier to understand at a glance.
To say it was shocking was an understatement, and I really wanted to compare it to some up to date data.
I finally found some 2007 figures, so I broke them down and I have to wonder if our government and the IRS even realize what the rich seem to be doing tax wise.
Lets lay the ground rules first:
- < 50,000 = Working Poor
- 50,000 to 100,000 = Middle Class
- > 100,000 = Rich
Now lets look at the percentages
- 2006
- 52% – Working Poor
- 31% – Middle Class
- 17% – Rich
- 2007
- 65% – Working Poor
- 22% – Middle Class
- 13% – Rich
Do you still doubt what I have been saying about more and more of our people being forced from the Middle Class into the ranks of the Working Poor?
Did you notice how the Rich went down too?
Several possible theories I can come up with
- Slowly but surely, the elite are forcing their competition out of business and bankrupting them because the dollar amounts are about the same
- They are moving their assets offshore and away from the taxes that we need to keep this country running, BUT the dollar amounts are still the same so that doesn’t really jive
I’m interested in hearing other theories and I definitely think those that know someone on the inside should enlighten them because I’ll bet you a bottle of Turkey – 101 that they aren’t listening to me.
Now lets look at the dollars
- 2006
- 1,298,999,000,000 – Working Poor
- 2,044,851,000,000 – Middle Class
- 4,101,203,000,000 – Rich
- 2007
- 1,614,563,380,900 – Working Poor
- 2,210,446,241,000 – Middle Class
- 4,640,225,550,000 – Rich
Notice how about 500 Billion left the Rich and got split between the Working Poor (300 Billion) and the Middle Class (200 Billion)?
