In 2007 we had the following taxes filed:
- Working Poor – 1,614,563,380,900
- Middle Class – 2,210,446,241,000
- Rich – 4,640,225,550,000
This is $8,465,235,171,900.00
In 2008 our government received 2,524,000,000,000.00 from its various sources
Now if we charged the following tax rates, we could do away with all of those tax sources and make the tax burden fair to all:
- 15% – Working Poor – $242,184,507,135.00
- 25% – Middle Class – $552,611,560,250.00
- 35% – Rich – $1,624,078,942,500.00
This would bring in $2,418,875,009,885.00
It is something to think about.
If you agree, call or write your representatives.
