Here is something the CEO’s and Economic Analysts don’t seem to understand
Take for instance this breaking news from yahoo.
WASHINGTON (AP) Strong auto demand pushes retail sales up in October, demand for other items remains weak.
For instance, if we look at this article you will see that in 2007 we had about 150 million employees.
Of these, 65% are in what I call the Working Poor category which means they make less then 50,000 dollars per year.
These people have no money to spend on anything but the essentials.
Don’t believe me, add up your own expenses and send them to me and I’ll post them showing what it costs to live in different parts of the country.
Doesn’t count if you own your home free and clear because you inherited it because the majority of these 65% of people have to pay rent or a mortgage.
Be truthful now and I will post your figures without releasing your names.
This is what I believe it would cost to live right here in Harper, Texas, Population of 500 or less, based on what it costs me to live
Send them to me at vbiersch@ktc.com
That means that 97,500,000 of our working population can only buy the essentials
This leaves 52,500,000 that can afford to buy what they want.
Even if each of them buys a brand new car every year, most likely you will not sell more then 52,500,000 cars per year.
This works out to 4,375,000 cars per month.
Anybody know how many cars we produce here in America each month?
Bottom line, if 65 percent of Americans do not have disposable income, how do you hope to sell to more then 35 percent of Americans?
