My perspective has changed – Has yours?
I write this site for those that are living this nightmare that used to be called the American Dream to the ridicule of family and friends that do not understand why I don’t just go to 7 Eleven and live out my life working as a clerk.
I don’t know why.
Maybe it is the Bierschwale in me.
Maybe it is the Parker in me.
But I’m not one to just give up.
A long time ago I knew in my mind that I would end up in the country club crowd playing golf during the day and cards with my friends at night and I really believe I would have made it because I know what I’m capable of.
Problem is 2003 came along and my life was changed for me forever where I could no longer find stable, better then average paying work that would allow me to crawl back up to the ladder rung that I was on when everything went to hell.
Back then I knew I would have the million dollar house and many other things.
Funny how adversity changes your perspective.
Now I live in an ole shack on 4 1/2 acres that I could buy for 40,000 if I could stabilize my income and you know what, I would be happy if I could do it as I’ve reached a point in my life where I would like to add a greenhouse of sorts on the side of here and experiment some with a little garden, solar power and some instrumentation to automatically monitor the levels and deliver water because that might be the next big thing one of these days.
And because my back hurts all the time (out of shape and the beer gut probably), I would like to have one of those optima hottubs by sundance or even a cedar one by rhtubs.com for those destressing sessions in the evening.
Like I said, my perspective has changed because if anybody had the money to buy this place and transfer it into my name and give me an advance where I could put the hottub out there and guarantee me an income of say 6,500 per month, well I probably would say sold as long as it was legitimate and dependeable and I sure as hell never thought I would say that because I always knew that I was going to be a millionaire.
The reason I mention this is because I want to hear from you whether your perspective on life has changed too because I believe it is important that we all stick together and watch each others back because its obvious to me that we can’t count on those that should have our back.
