I couldn’t agree more with Google CEO Eric Schmidt, but the finger pointing won’t fix the problem

For instance, lets take Harper, TX, Population of about 800 or so if you count the people in the country.
I have had a project that I’ve been wanting to do for several years now using your google maps products, yet I’m so close to destitute that I spend all my time trying to figure out how to pay the bills rather then focusing on creating this project that I believe will help all genealogy / family tree researchers all over the world.
Basically it goes like this.
We will create a header record for every cemetery in America and in the world if you want it to go that far and this record will have the longitude and latitude
Then we will add each persons name in the cemetery along with born and deceased info.
This way if somebody for instance was searching for Virgil Doyle Parker, they could start out with parker in their search and see where all of the parkers are buried at.
Then they could drill down further by state or birth date or deceased date
Such a project could easily put about 50 people to work here in Harper and you wouldn’t even notice the dent in your resources.
Imagine the good that you could do for the genealogy people researching their family trees around the World.
Imagine the prosperity that you could bring to a small town such as this one.
