Rexnord is a prime example of a bird in hand vs a bird in bush

You will hear these companies say that they can save millions by moving their manufacturing to cheaper countries that have few if any regulations to protect the workers.

“Rexnord of Indiana is moving to Mexico and rather viciously firing all of its 300 workers. This is happening all over our country. No more!” Trump said in a Friday night Twitter post.

Rexnord Corp, an industrial supplier based in Milwaukee, announced plans in October to move a bearing plant, and its 300 jobs, from Indianapolis to Mexico, employees told the Indianapolis Star at the time.

What they won’t tell you is that the market for their products is in fact America.

And then ask yourself a question.

If you were on their board of directors and you realized that 70% or so of your revenue comes from America, why would you make it so that America could not purchase your products?

After all, that is what happens when all of our companies send our jobs offshore or hire non-immigrant guest workers to take the remaining jobs here at home.

How smart is that?
