Riia O’Donnell, why do you hate Americans who want to work in America so much?

That is the first thing that came to mind when I read this article.

With unemployment so high.

No, not the Tokyo Rose Globalization Propaganda.

The actual labor force participation rate data shows what really is happening.

So many of us desperately want to work in our country and we have the skills that our employers say they can’t find

Yet they refuse to give us an opportunity and instead do this:

The skills gap and low unemployment rates are putting the squeeze on businesses trying to maintain head count. Workflow has been disrupted and morale is taking a hit. In this challenging market, some enterprises are looking abroad for talent, and for more than just to fill in the gaps. For many, it’s becoming critical to have a global view when it comes to hiring. The challenge is more than just sourcing and acquiring talent, however: it’s making sure all compliance and regulatory measures are met, too.

    This is pure manipulative propaganda.

Probably a paid-for PR piece by NASSCOM’s PR agency Hill & Knowlton.

Too bad HR mags such as this one don’t realize its illegal to hire foreign workers under Title 8 if Americans are adversely affected.
