I work for a non profit that supports veterans.
Being a Navy Vet (Radioman, USS W S SIMS, FF-1059, 1976 – 1982), I enjoy that.
But I’m sick of hearing people say that they support our veterans when so many veterans are committing suicide.
Many blame it on PTSD, and they are probably right.
But I believe what I’m fixing to show you has a lot to do with it because I came pretty close myself the last six years.
If the employment level for all veterans is at a low point, and the unemployment level for all veterans is at a low point, how can that be possible?
Unless they are not counting the long term unemployed veterans like myself, and art, and so many more.
