Why do I say we are losing jobs when we import non-immigrant guest workers and send jobs to other countries via free trade agreements?

Lets make it easy to understand by using round numbers.

Assume we have 1 million jobs in America and we have 1 million working age (not students, disabled, or retired) American citizens.

Now lets send 100,000 jobs to china and india.

This means that we now have 900,000 jobs available in America and in addition to our students, disabled, and retired citizens we now have 100,000 unemployed citizens.

Now lets import 100,000 people using non-immigrant guest worker visas.

We now have 1 million working, and we have 100,000 unemployed American citizens in addition to our students, disabled, and retired citizens.

Now lets import 100,000 more from China and India.

We now have 1 million working and we have 200,000 unemployed American citizens in addition to our students, disabled, and retired citizens.

Bottom line, you cannot create jobs by decreasing jobs.
