Why Table A-7 should matter to you and your children

Many of us are struggling to find work.

We want to see immigration happen, but what is happening is not immigration.

Do this little experiment yourself.

Go to the link above, and click on the “total” box for “employed” for foreign born and for native born.

Then click on the Retrieve Data button

You will end up with something like this:

Now subtract the Jan 2011 figure of 21,928,000 from the May 2021 figure of 25,789,000 for the foreign born and you will end up with a difference of 3,861,000

Now subtract the Jan 2011 figure of 115,671,000 from the May 2021 figure of 125,989,000 for the native born and you will end up with a difference of 10,318,000

Seems as if native born are getting all of the jobs, doesn’t it?

Problem is, if you try and chart it, you can’t compare the two numbers because the scale is different.

So divide the native born by 6 and you end up with 1,719,667

Big difference isn’t it?

Foreign born workers are getting hired at 69% to 31% of all job gains.

As one of those struggling, I have to ask you the question of “is this right for the future of our people, many who are veterans?”.
