Web designer

I have been on the job market since last April. What I have experienced in this new job market is absolutely astonishing! The sheer volume of people looking for work is just more than I have seen in my entire working career. Immigrants have taken over the job market for online positions. They have now started networking and trying to take more jobs from Americans. I have applied and gotten nothing back. Recruiters have ghosted me for even a phone interview. Job fairs are so full in my area that you will be lucky to get inside the building before the event is over. So I am left with just networking and praying that I can get in front of someone who is hiring. At this point I don’t even know what to apply for anymore. I have years of experience in Web Design, but that whole industry has changed so much I would have to go back to school. I am praying for a miracle to find reasonable work or resources to start my own business. It’s an overwhelmingly tough job market, but I refuse to give up!

Americans denied right to work @ workplace

Indian Implementation partners(TCS, CTS,WIPRO, INFOSYS, L&T, TechMahindra, HCL, etc.,These are labor camps..no product has been developed by these leeches. They are body shops) have taken over 90% of US IT implementations in the USA and colonized the entire workplaces denying the right of Americans to work. They follow strategy of interviewing job applicants by 5-7 level interviews or atleast 6 interviewers will be in the interview panel even for College undergraduates just to deny them jobs and get their relatives or people beloning to their caste/region back in India. And pushing american vendors out of clients, giving job opportunities to Indian prime vendors based out of India or hire low paid H4 spouses(they can work for $20/hr). They are taking advantage of every loophole in the immigration system. Based on immigration system, the clients/implementation partners should hire only highskilled H1B labor. But do QA/Testers/Business analysts require high skill?Big No. These jobs should be given to atleast Americans. But they are bringing people from India even for these jobs. It is a complete scam. Now most of the workplaces are colonized by Indian H1Bs denying entry of Americans.

Don’t Veterans Deserve A Future?

I got out of high school in 1976.
Did a few years in the oil field and then joined the navy where I served as a radioman on the W. S. Sims FF-1059 from 76 to 82.
After that I worked repairing scales, electronic and mechanical, for Fairbanks Scales and then I did about 4 more years as a self taught electronics technician.
Starting around 1988 I worked as a software developer doing contracts all over america for many fortune 500 firms.
I never went without above average paying jobs from 1976 to 2003.
All of a sudden something changed, and my skills were as good as ever or better.
For four years I couldn’t figure out what happened, and in 2007 I founded the website Keep America At Work to try and get my resume in front of people so I could get back to work.
It never happened, but I began hearing from others who were going through what I was going through and together we began to put together a picture and I gradually realized we were importing more workers than we were creating jobs for which was forcing American Citizens out of the workforce.
Fast forward to today where we have Vivek and Elon telling our political leaders that Americans are not good enough to work in the future that they visualize.
After nearly 22 years of very little work, and spending that time learning, I can guarantee you that until we find a way to stand united by telling our stories in one place so that the mainstream media can no longer sweep us under the carpet, it will grow worse.
So I have created this place where you can tell your story.
If for some reason, you don’t want to use this site, pick one or create one, but find a single searchable site where all of us can tell our stories so that the average reader will realize the problem is not our skills, but the tidal wave of guest workers being imported to take our jobs, and the remaining best paying jobs being sent to other countries.
